Bespoke Shaker Panelled Kitchen

Brighton

This beautiful hand-painted in-frame kitchen was designed to create a unified look throughout multiple zones. The clients previously felt that the alcoves and multiple architectural doorways made the space feel disjointed, which they wanted to rectify with this renovation. We achieved a new unity throughout by matching the architectural doors to the kitchen and tailor-making shaker panelling and cornice to run around the room tying all zones together.

This was then mirrored in the utility, in the bespoke made-to-measure television storage, and in the storage cupboards and panelling running down the corridor to the conservatory. Keeping this panelling and all tall units light in colour maintained an open feel in the room. In contrast, the darker of colour in the base units and the bespoke feature range canopy – which was built to house large specialist extraction – adds drama and depth.

The large peninsula creates a beautiful expanse of the specialist 60mm Calacatta Gold quartz worktops whilst also providing essential seating space for the young family to gather. This kitchen includes: solid oak drawer boxes, Wolf range, Subzero fridge freezer, Siemens ovens, Quooker taps, bespoke canopy, worktop-mounted storage.
