Mixing texture and finishes is crucial to the impact of this unique industrial kitchen. Our clients built this stunning house in the beautiful Surrey Hills and were keen to ensure every element reflected their tastes and personal styles.
We designed a layout which allowed space for all practical needs including Miele appliances, specialist storage and a large L-shape working area opening onto the double-height living space. A bespoke bar unit with pocket doors and a large central island with a built-in feature seating booth also help to make this a truly unique room.
The cabinetry is a dramatic combination of Rempp’s real stone veneered slate doors and copper oak doors with the book-matched grain running throughout. These units are topped with a Dekton Trilium worktop which evokes distressed metal and ties in beautifully with the striking smoked bronze Buster & Punch handles.
